There are different ways of getting to Vilhelmina. In the wintertime, the easiest way to get here is by air or road. You can take a direct flight from Stockholm and land less than two hours later at South Lapland Airport, in the middle of the wilderness. From there you can hop right on a snowmobile and leave civilization behind. By road, if you are not coming by car, you can sleep all through the journey north on the nightbus Lapplandspilen.
