Wilhelmina Winter Weekend
Wilhelmina Winter Weekend – Lapplands kallaste och mest spännande vinterfestival – arrangeras varje år i februari i Vilhelmina, och har sedan 1998 lockat tusentals besökare till snö, is och magiska vinteraktiviteter.
Festivalen erbjuder en fullspäckad helg för både äventyrslystna och de som vill njuta av Lapplands vinter på nära håll. Några av de mest populära inslagen är den berömda isstolpssittningen, där deltagarna tävlar om att sitta längst på en isig stolpe i bitande kyla – ett test av både uthållighet och viljestyrka!
Besök även vår vackra iskyrka, byggd av Lions, där både vigslar och andra ceremonier äger rum under festivalen. För den fiskesugna är isfisket i Baksjön ett måste, med chans att kamma hem priser för bästa fångst och mest kreativa utstyrsel. Fisketävlingen är bara en av många vintertävlingar som ger festivalen sin charm och lokal prägel.
Utöver dessa aktiviteter kan du uppleva spännande skotertävlingar, njuta av liveband på isscenen och delta i en rad andra roliga evenemang för hela familjen. Här finns något för alla – från våghalsar till nyfikna upptäckare!
